We are the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Region IV chapter at Carnegie Mellon University.

Our mission is to promote and support Carnegie Mellon’s Hispanic students aspiring towards excellence in professional technical fields.

Our History:

The Carnegie Mellon University SHPE chapter was founded in 2012. Since then, the chapter has grown in numbers and continues to expand today. We strive to help LatinX students succeed after their undergraduate studies.
